Coffee Hounds Studio is a film and photo production company that helps bring clients’ ideas to life. Our team includes photographers, videographers, designers, and more, all working together to make short films, feature films, and clients visions come to life.
Located in Reno, Nevada, we work with clients both domestically and foreign. We focus on creating high-quality visuals and stories, adapting to each project’s needs to meet our clients’ goals.

The Founders
Jack Egan
FounderJack Egan is a Director, photographer, cinematographer, and producer based in Reno, Nevada. He is currently pursuing a degree in business at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), where he is dedicated to developing a brand for Coffee Hounds Studio.
Jack has always had a passion for the outdoors and a love for travel, seizing every opportunity to explore new destinations with a budget-friendly plane ticket and a good time. During his travels, he captures his experiences through photography and videography, creating lasting memories with strangers who become lifelong friends. Over the years, Jack has grown within his skills in visual storytelling, which has led him to cinema.
As a co-founder of Coffee Hounds Studio, Jack manages both domestic and international clients, assisting them in compelling visual stories that enhance their brand, narrative, vision, and more. His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in the studio’s success.
Beyond filmmaking and photography, Jack has a big appreciation for food and coffee. He enjoys traveling to new locations to explore and savor the diverse flavors offered around the world that enrich his creative journey.
Jacob Clingensmith is a filmmaker and photographer from Northern Nevada. He is currently a Film and Photo major at Montana State University where he continues to develop his skills in visual storytelling through both academic work and hands-on production experience.
Growing up around the Reno and Tahoe region helped shape his interest in telling stories through film and photography. His work has been recognized at several film festivals and competitions throughout the area where he has received awards for his short films. He enjoys creating projects that focus on people, places and real experiences while paying close attention to strong visuals and thoughtful editing.
Jacob is also the co-founder and Head Editor of Coffee Hounds Studio. Through the studio he works on a variety of creative and commercial projects while continuing to pursue narrative filmmaking and photography.
Outside of filmmaking he trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which has taught him discipline, patience and the value of constant improvement. These lessons continue to influence the way he approaches both his creative work and his life.
